ARP-ZIP is a free software tool for the IBM i that supports zipping and unzipping of many types of compressed files and archives including:   ZIP, TAR, JAR, GZIP, and BZIP2. Unlike other zipping utilities that can get expensive, ARP-ZIP also supports various encryption methods (password zip, AES).   ARP-ZIP's encryption is compatible with commonly used products such as WinZip and PKZIP.
